Megan Angolia is a Richmond, Virginia based figurative artist. Her tightly rendered ceramic portraits depict contemporary female portraiture while utilizing centuries-old clay techniques.
Angolia’s work is exhibited nationally, with recent work shown at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts and the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. She is a recipient of the 2021/22 Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Professional Fellowship and recently an Artist-in-Resident at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation of New Mexico. Angolia will be debuting her first public sculpture in May of 2026 at the William King Museum of Art.
